There is no ”right side” in the war. All who partake in war are doing wrong. Full stop.
So far it is easy. I mean, to say what I just said. The hard part is to not participate in war.
If you get attacked you ”must” defend yourself. This is problably second nature to most of us.
But that does not make it right.
And it’s not a simple matter.
In the Bible we can find this: You shall not murder. But we can also find that God sometimes commands his people to go to war, and even to wipe out entire nations and kingdoms.
Contradictions in the Bible should make us think again about how we should read the Bible, and how we should interpret what is written in it.
Better say that we do not know, or do not understand, than to bend over backwards in our efforts to make everything in the Bible plain and clear, when it is not.
How do you read the Bible?
